Can SOMEONE help? I have two Citrix servers. 1 is a 1.8 metaframe for NT4 terminal server. The other is Metaframe XPa for WIN2k. The problem is with the NT4 server. HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU PRINT TO THE CLIENT COM PORT 1 from within your Citrix session? I have the Dymo LabelWriter Se300 and I've put in all of the necessary lines in the login script. I keep getting an error about the com port not being accessible when I go to register the printer in an app I'm running. I'm really beginning to HATE Citrix! Their knowledge base is a JOKE!

You have to add the following line to the USRLOGON.CMD file:

net use com1: \\client\com1: >NUL: 2>&1

On the Terminal server, where would I find the USRLOGON.cmd File?

Terminal Server 4 Edtion
\wtsrv\system32

Windows 2000 Terminal Services
\winnt\system32

I did that but when I select the printer within Citrix, I get an error that reads: 'The specified port is not accessible or is invalid' Any ideas?

First, add the following lines in the USRLOGON.CMD

NET USE
PAUSE

to find out if COM1 ist really mapped.

If NOT, is there something connected on COM1 on your server ? If yes, is it possible to connect your printer to COM2 oder COM3 ??

Go into the Citrix Connection Configuration ont the Citrix server, edit the client configurations (if "disable client com port mapping" is checked off, uncheck it.
