Problems installing Element Manager 62.0.0 1

Win XP, Although had this on Win7 as well if I recall.
Running setup as an admin.


Download from Avaya site and also a 450 Rls 6 and same issue.

When installing it it warns that where it will be installed etc, click OK then a few seconds later "Install completed".

Yet it didn't install a damn thing.

So I loaded version 60.0. which went fine, then ran the 62 again hoping maybe it would upgrade it but same thing.

Found it odd that version 62 is 25 megs when all other version had been over 100 megs?

Any ideas?

Hello Curly Cord

The version 62.0.0 was released without all the various cartridges that the previous ones had. That is why it's a smaller file size.

The other thing is that Avaya have moved the default location from e.g. C:\Program Files\Nortel\BEM etc to e.g.

C:\Documents and Settings\David\.bcm\BEM

It's worth taking a look for the new location.

The work around...
Use the BCM Application Launcher site instead of downloading the setup file from Avaya site.
