Being cocky isn't going to make people rush to help you. You said both in the subject and in the post itself that you were using Java, which is not the same as Javascript. Are we supposed to just know that you realise the difference when you use incorrect terms to describe what you are doing?

what could be the problem
The problem could be that the markup/code snippet supplied by the counter company is not valid... that your own page markup is not valid... that your CSS is not valid... or, more likely, a combination of all three.

Validate your page(s) against the doctype you chose ( and validate the CSS as well.

If that doesn't hilight some errors (or you address all the errors and the problem still persists) then post a URL to your page for people to view.

Cheers,
Jeff
