Problems connecting to Meridan mail via com port.

Hi,

I am have a problem connecting to meridian mail via com port 1 on my PC using hyper terminal. I also connect to the PBX via com port 1 which works fine. Both connections connect from the com port to a switch box. I have tried every setting on hyperterminal but no joy ..... I am now in limbo. Can some one HELP !

i do not know your BPS setting ,but for Terminal Emulation you have to use the VT100 ,all other settings are default.

have you tried a null modem - mail is configured by default to attach to a modem - not a tty
