Problems 4602 ip phone

I have a customer, and he has a problem with a 4602 ip phone, this phone is on a 401 small office.
When the customer lift the handset he has no dialtone, and can make no phone calls.
The 4610 ip-phone has no problems.

Has anyone has promblems with this combination, or has some one a solution for this.

I use a 4602 on an SOE here in my office with no problems, running 3.0.40

Have you tried deleting the user and extension and allowing the phone to re-create it (with auto create extension turned on of course)?

The IP401 isn't the same as the Small Office Edition. Can check the details at the moment but I've a strong suspicion that the 401 doesn't support an IP Office software release that also support 4602 phones.

The 401 is not supported on vesion 3 but I think you mean a SOE.

If it is an SOE then try unchecking the local tones box on the VOIP tab.
