I have a document which has been registered as a Web Document and therefore when i go to save any changes to it I only get two options in the file menu - Save and Save as Web page. Why is this and can it be modified.?

Regards Lamaar75@hotmail.com

Why is this? Because it was saved as a web document and can't be "reverted back". I suspect Word cannot clean out any html that's been added. It would help to know what version of Word.

Like files that are converted to PDF, you should maintain a copy of html files FIRST as Word documents, then as html docs. Then, when you need to make a change, you change the Word doc version, save it, then save as to html again. dreamboat@nni.com

I'm using Word 2000 but the problem is happening with all new documents. The only two options I get are 'save' and 'save as web page' - no save as. sorry for any confusion.

Thanks Lamaar75@hotmail.com

managed to sort it - had a virus - thanks anyway. Lamaar75@hotmail.com
