I have a Hp vectra Xa computer and there is win nt on it, i want to remove it and format to win 98, but I don't hav any disk that can help me to do it, cauz I don't have nt disks, can someone tell me how to format a win nt based system ?

Get a Windows 98 start-up disk. Boot from that. Run fdisk at teh command prompte and delete the existing partition(s). Create a new partition. Reboot, format and install.

When deleting the partitions, remember:

* If the file system is NTFS, select 'Delete Non-DOS partition'.
* If the file system is FAT, delete as normal i.e. ' Delete primary partition'.
