hi,
i have aloha table service 6.4.25 with 4 printers. 2 thermal epson TM80 for two terminals, and 2 in the kitchen (1 is epson U200, other is Epson Tm80. Problem is these two printer in kitchen when printing out order receipt, it wasted lot of empty space on top (2") and bottom (1") while those printers outside with teminal is not wasted so much empty space. i would like to know if is there a way to cut down the wasted spaces on receipt.
thanks

go to Store Settings maitenance, then select Printing-Chits, Chit Style. Adjust the Leading Lines and Trailing lines to your liking. That should help the problem out.

thank you very much for your reply.
the Leading line is already set at 0
the Trailing line is set at 6, i changed to 3 and it looks better on the bottom. but the top part is still almost 2" of wasted paper before it print 1st line.
The weird thing is that i have same TM80 printer for front POS and it didn't not wasted that much paper compare to the one in the kitchen.
is there anything else i can do to reduce the header?
thanks

The top of an impact printer vs thermal printer dupe is different plus you need something blank at the top as most kitchens tuck the dupe into a dupe holder. The 2" you see as waste at the top may be needed. But you're trying to change "the top" of the dupe; the top part is what is already line fed in the printer before the dupe actually starts to print (the paper has to feed to the cutter bar).

1-Ply paper costs approx .80 per roll, each roll gives you 1800 inches of paper. If you print 1800 dupes a week, that's .80 a week in wasted paper costs.

thank you very much for your quick response. What u said make sense.
Much aloha
