Problem with upgrade 1

Hello all - I've been trying to upgrade Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003. Everytime I launch the upgrade, I get this error messages at two points during the process:"Cannot access the following key-hkey_local machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\setup\optional components\MAPI"

I have administrative rights on the machine, and I've even searche the KB, tried the fix there with the same results. I even deleted my profile and it didn't help. Any and all help is appreciated at this point.

Run regedit and check that key's permissions (security). It may have gotten messed up. Add the administrator if it missing.
