Hi,
I have a problem with the conection between an Ericsson BC11 (TLU20) and Nortel (E1 CAS). Sychronization and connection is okay but when I take a channel and dial an extension on the Nortel PBX,nothing happens. The call times out.

The ROCAP: SEL=011000000000001,SERV=31100000001,SIG=4111100000000,TRM=5,DIST=30,DISL=128
RODAP: VARC=00000000, VARI=00000226, VARO=00012416,FILTER=NO

The Nortel EI CAS can't use MFC only DTMF.

Thanks.

Suggest you check the following:

1. Are you sending sufficient digits to the Nortel PABX?

2. Is the Nortel set up for Decadic or DTMF digit reception?

3. Is the MD110 looking for Dial Tone before sending digits to the MD110?

We are sending sufficient digits to the Nortel PABx. A 4-digit ext has been created on the Nortel and that's what's dialled after picking a channel.
The Nortel is setup for DTMF digit reception.
