Hi

Have a look at faq184-6540

On my screen it displays just one line in the code-part

Will this be an error in Tek-Tips or a setting on my pc?

-Bart

FYI
This is what's on my screen.[just part of the code displayed now being only an example] and also no scrollbar when in the FAQ.
Mike, at this moment I don't have the opportunity to use an other pc or browser. Also I can't learn anything from the 'view source'.
-Bart

Code:
****** VFP9 with SP 1 Public oform1 oform1=Newobject("form1") oform1.Show Return ************************************************** *-- Form: form1 (\imaginecorp\form11.scx) *-- ParentClass: form *-- BaseClass: form *-- Time Stamp: 02/02/07 01:25:12 AM * Define Class form1 As Form Top = 3

Bart,

If you go into View Source, then search for This is an Oldie:, you should see a large chunk of program code after it. There are about 50 lines of code, containing recognisable text, like TabIndex and Index On; and each line begins with &nbsp repeated several times.

If you can see that, then Tek Tips is correctly delivering the text, but your browser is failing to display it for some reason. If, on the other hand, you can't see the code in View Source, then it's something wrong at Tek Tips.

That said, I admit that this won't get you any nearer to solving the problem.

Mike

Hi to all,

This definitive must be a problem with the pc and browser. I tried at home with different machines and chrome-browser.
No problem at all. Have to check my machine in the office!

Thanks for all reports / feedback!

Bart,

There are two things that are worth trying in this sort of situation:

1. Clear the browser's cache.

2. Delete any relevant cookies (Tek Tips cookies in this case).

I don't suppose either of those will solve the problem, but it's always worth trying.

Mike
