I cannot access my server from my laptop, I was able to do it before. I had to reinstall the server os rh 7.1 now when I try to access it with ssh1 no go. Help me out please

You need to recreate your public key pairs
I hope it works...
Unix was made by and for smart people.

Can u show me please, I checked installed packages. GNUPG was installed. So how do I recreate the key. Does this really have anything to do with me accessing the server using ssh1 or ssh2?

Hi,

Are you using the ssh1 capability of openssh or ssh1 itself ? If the first option, see --> . You'd also need the following rpms installed :

ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/7.1/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS/openssh-2.5.2p2-5.i386.rpm
ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/7.1/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS/openssh-clients-2.5.2p2-5.i386.rpm
ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/7.1/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS/openssh-server-2.5.2p2-5.i386.rpm
ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/7.1/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS/openssh-askpass-2.5.2p2-5.i386.rpm
ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/7.1/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS/openssh-askpass-gnome-2.5.2p2-5.i386.rpm

Otherwise, have you tried ssh.com support --> .

Hope this helps
