Problem with simulator

Hi everyone

I have just started readind for the CCNA exam and i have a problem with the boson simulator ver 5.27 i have connected a switch 2950 with a router 1750.
I put an ip address in fast ethernet and i give the no shut command to enable the device.
I see that the device it changes state to up but then it changes state to down.
I know that it must be something that i do wrong but in the
book that i am reading it does not say that it needs anything
else to do to enable the fast ethernet.

Did you no shut the switch interface too?

Also check the speed/duplex settings are the same on the router and switch.

Yes i checked all of that and it did not worked
I changed the type of router and it worked just fine
It seems that it is a bug in the simulator do you know
another simulator better from boson
