Hi,

We are currently migrating from MD110 to CUCM, albeit rather slowly.

I have been tasked with routing calls from MD110 to CUCM. This route is setup and working fine, however, when I end an extension NANSE:NUMTYP=EX,NUMSE=XXXX; the log feedback is showing as correct, but the number is still showing as an available free extension within Extension manager.

If you try to initiate an extension with the number in question you get a 'not in range' error.

The process I am following goes as follows:

Delete extension from extension manager first then,
NANSE:NUMTYP=EX,NUMSE=XXXX;
NANSI:NUMTYP=ED,NUMSE=XXXX;
RODDI:DEST=XXXX,ROU=X,SRT=1;

The calls are being routed correctly, but I am still seeing the number.

What am I missing?

Cheers

You say you using EMG.
Are you checking in TTY ore in "GUI".
If "GUI" have you updated , at leasr, number series.

Hi MPE,

I use the EMG GUI for 99% of the changes I have done in the past, I have been using the TTY window to change the routing and end the numbers.

I have not updated the number series on the GUI as I dont know how to.......

Thanks for the reply

In TTY you are updating the switch directly. In EMG you are reading the database on the DNA Server, so your DNA db is out of sync with the switch.

run a full sync in MDSupport to update DNA, then try EMG again. If you want to use EMG, end the extension in EMG then use TTY. NANSE ends the number series not the extension.

Retread your msg, follow earlier advice, sync the number series in MDSupport after mass changes to get EMG db up to date. Ideally, run a full sync first to make sure nothing else is missed.

Hi Parnum,

I ran a sync last night and EMG is now up to date.

Many thanks for your assistance
