Problem with opening "My documents" folder

Hi guys
I have two win XP OS in my PC, one of them broken, the problem is I can't open "My documents" of the broken OS.

Can anybody help?

Please explain the problem fully. What can or cant you access? Is it only the My documents folder. How did the problem ocuur?

My first OS crashed and I could not fix it, then I installed win XP to different folder (C:\WINXP) in order not to overwrite documents folder. when I boot the PC with new win XP, I can not access to documents of the broken OS.
I recieve "Access is denied" message.

I mean there two documents folders. one for old broken win XP, and the other for new one. I have lots pics in the old one.
