do not quite understand this problem. When I try to run OpenGL
Applications from the console, they run properly. But when I try to run
them from a an Exceed Session they do not run even after having Exceed 3D
installed.

Moreover I cannot retrieve any glx info from an Exceed Session. Could you
tell me where I am going wrong or missing something ?

Output of glxinfo frm an Exceed Session;
alfcf10:~ # glxinfo
name of display: 140.171.137.169:0.0
X Error of failed request: BadRequest (invalid request code or no such
operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 139 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 21 ()
Serial number of failed request: 10
Current serial number in output stream: 10

I don't believe you can run an OpenGL application on a remote display. I couldn't even do it between two SGI's back in the day I had access to them.

You're talking fill rates that push an AGP or a PCI-X slot to it's limits, there's no way you can shove that over a network.
