problem with null value number feild

Hello Friends,
Could someone please tell me how I can assign 0 to a number feiled in a report when it has null value.

I have something like this:

Sales Return NetSales
500 100 400
300
400 500 -100

the formula i have in NetSales is: sales-return(obviously), but when return is null the NetSales also comes out to be null.

Go to file menu and click on report option. You can see something like convert database null values to default or other null values to default use that.

Do i have to assign the Default value somewhere, because that option is turned off when i went to options>reporting

Nevermind I got it, was looking at the wrong place.. Thanks for the help.
