Problem with muting and Call Master V's

I know this sounds like a newbie question however I am having a problem activating the mute button with our Call Master V's.

I have the mute button enable field under the station to Y however even after TTI'ing the phone, the mute button is still disabled.

I have tried several different Call Master V's to see if there was a release of phones that did not allow that.

Anyway I am having no luck. Any ideas?

 
If it the same as a callmaster IV the mute button can be disabled on the phone itself. With no headset adapter try hitting select, mute, 00. This brings up the phone settings. To change the mute status hit select, mute, 68 and follow the instructions on the display.

Try busying out the phone and releasing it, or the manual way by unplugging it and plugging it back in. This is what you have to do when you try to disable the mute button for it to take effect.
