problem with mouse cofig

I have installed red hat 7.1 and used it with no problem.

today when i boot redhat mouse is like a white square in my kde/gnome/windowmaker!!!


when doing
#setup
and choosing mouse config
i have this problem:
error in cofiguration file ..../etc/sysconf/mouse

i configure my mouse with "setup"
but i steel have the same problem.

my /etc/sysconf/mouse is like this:

XMOUSETYPE="PS/2"

Did you check the settings in X11Config file ?
