Problem with migrating cognos 7reports to new server

Hello.
I have a question related to publishing report to virtual server Please find the steps below.
1. old server was having performance issues hence decision was made to create a new server.
2. new server was installed, and cognos7 was installed in it.
3. changes in configuration manager was-- a) the new server name was added to access manager. b) data store connection also new server name was added to it.
4. rest copy past of other existing systems files were done from one server to new one.
5. now when I am trying to publish the report set from old to new server then in option "Select" ---> Publish reports to Upfront Newsbox , I cant see the my own news box that I created in the new web front (connected to new/virtual server)

Could you please help? Where am I missing some action that is not letting me select the new server name in the list?

Have you read the useful information in the Cognos documentation "Solution Installation Guide" - PART 3: Upgrading Applications?
It is the pdf "ebi_inst.pdf" that you should find in the documentation folder of your installation - the default path is "C:\Program Files\Cognos\cer5\documentation" for 7.3 (cer2 for 7.0, cer3 for 7.1 & cer4 for 7.2).

Thanks for the information, I am just reading it, someone else performed the installation till now and I have replaced the guy, in the pdf that you suggested it says upgrade related to new server and in my case the new server is completely new no backup is required and all the upgrades are done, I am stuck when I try to publish the report set to new server,
may be I am not understanding completely as I dnt have a complete knowledge of back end of cognos, I am reading the document though, but could you plese suggest that what I am asking is relevant and I will get the answer in the doc?

I already asked this question before but now I have more information
There is an ETL server where the datasatage updates the reports with new data and that report updates the webfront. the Web front server is changed to new one and now when I try to publish the report from ETL server to new web front then the newsbox that is see is on old webfront how will be able to see the option to select new web front when I try to publish the report?
