Current Problem:
We lost all the counters for page faults, cpu, memory, etc except for user load on one of our Citrix Servers. Other servers load counters are fine. This problem causes the one server to accept all connections due to counters reporting 0 load.

Farm Details:
8 XPe Servers FR2 SP3
Oracle Database

Please Help!

Can't this server be reassigned to the Load Evaluator group in the Citrix Management Console? If you right click the server or group, you should be able to Assign Load Evaluator and assign the appropriate configured Load Evaluator...

Hey Mike,

The server is assigned to a custom load balancing group already (all the servers are members of this group). The problem is that none of the counters are working except for "user load" (cpu, memory, pagefaults all report as 0).

Hope this sheds some light on the issue.

If you launch a CMD on the Citrix server, run qserver /load, does it report the same information? Are all servers configured with the appropraite Product Code in the CMC or are there any licensing mismatches with FR levels?

Currently qfarm will give me a load since it is still working with "user load". If I remove this counter from its load balancing group its load is 0.

All servers are licensed to XPe and running FR2.

Fustrating isnt it? I went through the basics already and came up empty handed.

I have a server FR2 XPa that is doing the exact same thing and I ended a 1 week search with nothing. I could not get anyone from Citrix to tell me how these values were calculated so I could compare servers for differences.
I ended up with using a custom load balancing with CPU and User load which keeps things somewhat equal but this server still takes a majority of the load. Very Frustrating!!! If you end up finding anything I would apprecite a heads up at rayz30@yahoo.com

Thanks,
