Hey guys,

I have completed this site and when you refresh the page in ie6 (works on all other brwsrs) the bottom half of the page goes black and the footer disappears. Any ideas? thx

I was writing you a long and detailed reply but my browser crashed. So you get a short one instead. Sorry.
1. You employ a myriad of hacks in your css, which are not needed for a layout that simple. That adds complexity, is hard to debug and can cause unforseeable results, like stuff disappearing.
2. You do not have a complete and valid doctype. When not having one, browsers render in quirks mode and all kinds of stuff can happen, like elements disappearing.
3. Your page does not validate. While it usually present no problem, sometimes non-valid pages can cause some strange results, like not rendering certain things.

I am not saying any of these are causing your problems. But they might be and if you fix them, you might be able to spot a problem faster.

Hey thanks for your reply. I have been stuffing around with the file but to no avail. The page now validates and has a valid doc type and works without the flash menu. As soon a you add in the flash file it starts doing the bad refresh!
Any ideas guys? im pulling my hear out on this one!

ok, this file uses simple ajax to load the pages. As soon as I stop this from happening, by either deleting the action from the flash file, or deleting the includes of the .js file in the html, it works. But as soon as I ad the functionality back in it stuffs up! Guys Im stumpt!!
