We use an online document library that uses Java to display the documents. The Java works fine for all of our users but one.

For this user, the applet appears to be loading normally and the table of contents is visable on the left side of the screen, but when he clicks on any of the links in the table of contents, the item is not displayed on the page.

I've looked at security settings and removed and reinstalled the JRE...no change.

Anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

Is there any difference if antivirus software is [temporarily] disabled? Many AV software struggle with Java applets. It's concieveable that it could be related to the problem.

Maybe a silly question but ... do all computers have the same version of the JRE and Java Plugin installed?

Cheers,
Dian

And after that ... is any message appearing in the console?

Cheers,
Dian

Thanks everyone...The problem ended up being the ad blocker in symantec security client. Once I added the site to it's approved list everything worked normally.
