Hi eam, maybe someone can give me a hint on this odd one:

We have two 3300 controllers linked with IP Trunking. Controller A runs IP Phones a PRI trunk and some analog trunks, controller B runs IP Phone and some analog trunk.

We route external calls from phones at Controller B to the PRI on Controller A, but we are not able to place the call On Hold/Transfer them. As soon as we hit the Hold button nothing happens.

Some troubleshooting results:
Calls from Controller B to analog trunks on Controller A can Hold/Transfer.
Calls from phone on Controller A to their PRI can Hold/Transfer.
Calls from phones on Controller B to analog trunks on Controller A can Hold/Transfer.

Is your Cluster for IP trunks setup with Direct IP and If so have you properly configured COS 100 for IP Trunks

Alternatively, if you are using Configured IP Trunks, Is the specified COS for IP Trunks properly configured?

Yes, I think the IP Trunks COS is configured properly because I can call between Controller B and A, and we can call from controller B to analog trunks on controller A but when we try use the PRI Trunk we are not able to place the call on hold/transfer.

I checked the COS (Ip Trunk, Pri Trunk) but I can't find where is the mistake

I didn't ask if you could call. You have an issue putting calls on hold. Some hold functions are controlled by COS

Is the COS for the IP trunks setup properly?

Yes, I configure the COS into the Trunk Service assign for that IP Trunk.

kwbMitel, Would you have an example of the COS configuration?
