Our phone system is setup to use 3digit extensions internally. On our 016/TRR board we have a number of fax lines. Recently, one of them stopped working. After a lot of research (I'm not a phone guy), I found that the 3digit extension associated rings the line and tries to fax. Also if you fax "out", it works fine and has the proper fax number. But if you try to call this fax line from the outside (7 digit dial), it rings off into limbo land because the fax never rings. So somehow the 7digit number incoming has seperated from the outgoing.
I've tried and searched here and I can't figure this out. Any suggestions?
