hi again
i intend to link two "numeric" fields from one query and one "LINKED" table originally from foxpro
the data type of the query field is numeric but the table field is text and i cant change it because the field in this linked table is set as a text field in foxpro.
Changing the text field to a numeric one in foxpro is causing problems to the original program written in foxpro!
when i try the query i get "type mismatch in expression"
Is there a solution to change the field type of the linkled table in access from a text to numeric type without affecting the original foxpro dbf file?
Any advice?
thanks
rami
