I am Having a problem with a drop down menu. one button that drops into five buttons. On rollout it is suppose to go back to one button, it works if you rollout slowly, but if you rollout fast it stays open as five buttons

No, oldnewbie do you have the fla for that one because that one I can not get it to stick, What did you do different in that one?

I just can't manage to do it!
Please tell me how you're triping them!

;-)

never mind I just got it to stick, but I think I will go with original, but thank you anyway to both of you. I will let you all know if somebody complaints.

Ok! Just managed it once! But who ever is going to do that at that speed! I figure it's much better than your original anyways!
In case you want to modify it... Change your rollout layer as a rollover area. In other words, anything outside the space occupied by your buttons (cut out a hole in your hit area to the dimensions occupied by your buttons) is the hit area. Make this hit area the size of your movie!

;-)

Help! I am trying to do exactly what you are talking about. I want a horizontal drop down menu like the one at the bottom of this page:

Can anyone help me with the FLA file, tips on customizing for my uses, or any advice at all. I am using Flash 5, or at least trying to.

Thank you,
Joe Dunn
