I've never encountered this problem before, and can't figure out what is happening. In exporting an image in the jpg format from Corel Draw, it exports it fine to the correct folder, but I cannot open it (I get that box with a red X). However, when I import the jpg back into Corel, I can open it fine.

Any ideas as to what is happening? Thanks for any help!

Two questions.
1) You say that you cannot open the file but that you can in Draw. What application are you trying to open it in that you get the red "X"?

2) What version of Draw?

3) If it is Draw 11, are you exporting as a JPG2000?

OK, that's three questions.

Hi R,

I would get the red X when trying to open the exported jpg in the file folder I sent it to. I have Version 9.

I finally got around the problem by exporting the image as a Windows Bitmap and then converting it to a jpg in another photo editing program.

Thanks for any further comments... :)
