Hiya folks, I have a slight problem. When I print in EXCELL [the spreadsheet], some of the cells dont get printed right. The bottom line gets cut-off. Know what I mean? Is there a way to make sure the whole spreadsheet gets printed right, without having anything cutoff?

Select the cells that you want printed , i.e. highlight them. Then choose File/Print area/Set print area. This will print only the selected cells. If you want to have it all on one page choose File/Page Setup and then set to 1 page by 1.

Hope this helps

Hans

Also, check the paper in the printer matches the page size specified for the print - not all printers (especially non-laser) will check this.

Hi. you should just be able to LOOK at your spreadsheet and tell what will print and what won't be seeing where the little dotted lines that go across the screen are. another approach would be to use page break view which will allow you to manually slide page breaks up and down to get what you want. also just print preview will do same.

hi, the problem is when i print the whole document, only some of the cells don't print the underlines. See the document, when printed has an underline between each cell, but the underline of certain words and numbers are omitted, and i can't figure out why...i think it may have something to do with style...

There are 3 ways to create lines:
1 Actually use underlining for the contents of the cells
2 Set a border around a cell
3 Set the gridlines to print

If you can tell us how you have set these lines we can probably help you more easily.

I have had that problem before. It seemed to have something to do with how much data was in a cell, sort of like the ***** that's printed when a number is too big. By adjusting the width of the cells in quesion, we were able to get the printout to show the underlines in all the cells.
