Problem with Embeded Excel Object in Word Can't see the Data!! 1

I have an embeded Excel 2000 object in a Word 2000 document. The spreadsheet is relatively small. About 5 columns by 15 rows or so.

The problem is that, before my problem started, I could actually see the Excel information. Something happened that now I can only see the Excel information only if I Preview or Print de Document. If I toggle CTRL-F9 it says either { EMBED Excel.Sheet.8 } or a single line frame where the object is. But the actual Excel rows and columns cannot be seen...

Any comments? Thanks to all in advanced.

Hi tncf,

Go into Tools|Options|View and make sure 'picture placeholders' is unchecked.
