Hello All,

I need some help about a new installation in our customer in south America.....so far away :(

That´s the point.
We just installed a new E-1 circiut with a DTI2 card, but it doesn´t work. It´s status is NNC (No New Calls)
I have no experience wiht DTI2 card, I usually install PRI2 card with D-CHANNEL etc.
The system has not MDSL Card....

That´s the telecom provider information:

clock Mode MASTER
Monitor Link state DISABLE
Line Coding HDB3
Line Framing NO-CRC4
Channel Range 1-30
Encoding Scheme G.711 a-Law
Line Signaling Protocol Q.421 2BITS SIGNALING
Register Signaling Protocol MFC/R2

You've got an R2 circuit. They are not easy. You will need to define and assign MFC registers and define the R2 tables.

NTP NN43001-284 Multi-Frequency Fundamentals. That's your guide.

It doesn´t work :(
Any ideas

any chance to get the customer to switch to ISDN? We have systems all through South America. Venezuela is the only country where we cannot get ISDN, and it is our last R2 trunk.

Thanks HWKING, I think it´s very complicated to ask any change to telecom provider.
This is my MFC configuration:

An aditional information, we have a Yellow Alarm in the card, it´s NEA Alarm. It could be a conectivity issue, like conectors etc ?????

Good news! but the operation is almost right. The telecom provider was wrong. They made some changes in the infraestructure.

The situation is, we can send outgoing calls 100%, but we have 40% of bad incoming calls.

Please, Could you give me an example of MFC incomunig table?

Thanks a lot.
