We have recently purchased some accounting software, which has given us no end of trouble.
I have the software ( Everest by Icode ) installed on an 2000 advanced server box running IIS (It has an E-commerce package bundled in) and MSSQL. I usually connect to the box using terminal server (administration mode).
Here is the problem I am having: When I try to connect to the website, inetinfo.exe sucks up all of my memory. When I try to connect to the e-commerce administrator app that they have provided, it complains that a dll isn’t registered.
However, when I logon to the server locally, all these problems disappear. Logoff locally again, regardless of who is logged on ts, the problem is back again.
So my question is: how do I get my server to automatically log on a user locally, so that someone doesn’t have to log on manually whenever the server is reset?
Alternately, is there a way to get the dll to work when someone isn’t logged on locally, or when someone is logged on to the ts?
Regards,
Warren
