So, this is my first thread within this forum, but it is not the easiest one:
I own the wireless-LAN card mentioned in the subject.
I installed the card (when nachine was turned off) and the computer never started Windows again.
It seems there is a big problem with IRQ sharing.I switched around the order of my PCI-cards and assigned an IRQ to every single slot manually. But nothing is working.
Only if I take my sound card out, the WLAN card can be used.
But this is not a very good solution, as you can imagine: Internet without sound, especially telephone conferencing, isn't the most populat thing.
So, if you got any ideas what I can do, PLEASE help me.

Check for updated drivers to the soundcard, and updates/service packs for the Operating System, as well. If you could list your specs, it would be a lot easier for me to trouble-shoot, if you'd like.

Thanx for the answer. But I also contacted the D-Link support. And they told me that this problem is well known and the only thing I can do is update all drivers and my BIOS. But thats what I did first, of course.
As I read through the D-Link forum, it seems that the wireless card is not running correct with many boards, especially on VIA-chipsets.
So it seems there is a problem within the card that can not be solved by drivers or putting the card to another slot.
So,I'll send the card back and wait for the USB2-version.
