Hi,

Today i encountered an another problem.embedded voice mail is installed in a site. If an outside caller dials, either he can go directly to the respective person by dialing his extension or press 0 for operator assistance. I tried it myself. I pressed 0 and it rung at the operator phone. there was nobody to take the phone, and after a few rings automatically went to voice mail to leave the message. On hearing this, i disconnected the call. I monitored the trunk line at SYSTEM STATUS and found out that instead of getting disconnected, it is going to some # voicemail reception. After about 25-30 seconds, the trunk line gets cleared. The problem is that for the 25-30 seconds, if any other user tries to call this line, it shows user busy.I want to rectify this as the problem happens on the main line they have published in the visiting card. I wish some one helped me...tyvm

Did you configure the analog disconnect timers?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Not hat easy I'm afraid, it also needs configuring by the line provider :)

@amriddle01.....bro, i work in a shithole called saudi arabia...it is better continuing with the delay rather than ATTEMPTING to obtain details from the provider..other than getting provider details could you please suggest any alteration in values regarding "disconnect clear" or selecting the busy tone detection in SYSTEM>TELEPHONY>TELEPHONY>TONES&MUSIC.in the current config it is given unchecked.....
