I am using CorelDraw 11 (new application to me) and have come across something which has got me stumped. I have the application on 2 machines almost identical setup. On one machine there is no problem at all however on a particular machine I appear to having a problem with textboxes. I can enter whitespace before typing in any words however if i type anything in the box then press any whitespace key then the application locks and starts using 100% CPU. I have gone into Tools to the QuickCorrect options and on clicking on the QuickCorrect option the application crashes again. I think the problem is there but I am unable to figure out how to fix it. Has anyone come across this and managed to fix it?

Any help work be great

Cheers

Good start is to hold F8 down when starting Draw and accepting the factory defaults for the workspace, I'm not saying this is the problem but it does seem to cure some wacky behaviour.

Cheers will give that a go and get back with results.

Just a thought - this type of thing used to happen to me when I had 400+ fonts installed. Once I shaved it down to 275-ish, text commands became useable again. But this is only likely if one computer has way more fonts loaded on it for some reason.

Good idea. It's a friends computer so will have to check it next time I get on.
