ok. i need to re-boot my pc with a format cd-rom disc i have but when my pc boots up it says it's searching the cd-rom drive's for bootable files, but the lights don't blink and it says there isn't any files that are bootable in the cdrom drive!!!!!!! this has been a problem before, but i went into the bios setup and changed the cd-rom from an Atapi cdrom to Auto. well my pc has crashed since then and now that doesn't even work. i figured something else in the bios setup had changed too, but i don't know what it is. if anyone knows how to fix this problem please reply asap

Try using a CD that you know for sure is bootable like windows 98/me etc. Also go back into the bios and set the cd-rom drive to the 1st boot device, get rid of the auto and set it to cd-rom. That should work, if it does not it's probably something else like a bad cd-rom drive or something
