Hi all!

I have a form that has a subform that contains a textbox. The data in this particular textbox sometimes exceeds the width of the textbox. When this is the case, I want the text to wrap and the text box to grow accordingly. Now, I have set the "Can Grow" property for the textbox and the Details section to "True", however, when I open the form, the records that should cause the textbox to grow do not - the content runs off the edge of the visible area instead. I'm wondering if there is anything else I need to do to get this to work properly. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

The "Can Grow" property of controls on a form ONLY applies when the form is printed or previewed, not when opened in form view. If you want the text to wrap, set the "Scroll Bars" property to "Vertical". While it won't cause the control to expand, it will at least give the user the ability to see the data by scrolling through the field - and the presence of the scroll bar is a good visual cue that there's more data further down in the control.

HTH...
