Hi

I have a client (hotel) They had for many years one attendant, but recently they required a second one. We installed the second console, but we have been experiencing a strange problem. When the main console (old att) is speaking and another call comes in, the operator sees a visual indicator, but also hears a calling tone. In the second console, when the operator is speaking and a second calls rings, you get the visual indication, but no tone, so if the operator is not carefull they miss calls. The settings of both attendants apart from the obvious ext, port and also console type (the main is set to principal, while the new to night only)are exactly the same. I cannot really find where the problem is. Any help will be appreciated.

What if you change the 2nd console to "day-only" - that is how our consoles are configured. When not manned, they put it in position busy.
