Problem with a strange software.

I have a problem with an strange software that was installed in my machine; and it shows me a little icon in the notification area, so when i click on it, a message appears and says CRITICAL SYSTEM ERROR; THEY MAY CAUSE CRITICAL SYSTEM FAILURE AND automatically opens a couple of internet explorer windows that points to buy and downloads free trial anti spywares. i run trend micro antivirus which has all updates and no virus were found in my system, so my question is how can stop or eliminate this issue in my system.

You have a Nasty piece of ADWARE on your computer.
It is not a virus but it might as will be for the difficulty and pain in the arse it is to remove.
it downloads and executes...then wants you to purchase the ADWARE removal software they sell to remove it...

THEY PUT IT ON YOUR COMPUTER IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I REALLY REALLY detest companies like that.

this will tell you what ADWARE was installed
Then
after you find the one that you cannot remove with Spybot
you need to Google that ADWARE for the removal instructions.
I say this because most of the new ADWARE like this create files that are not removable by normal means...

in additiona to Spybot a program called Adaware usually finds this sort of mal-adware.

this usually happens when you click on some what appear to be system messages that sends you to their website and just by visiting the website that allows them to stuff thier malware on your PC - it usually says so in their "privacy statement".

I actually had a user with this same exact problem just today. I found a SpyAxe removal tool from f-secure. Here is the link to their SpyAxe removal tool page:

I had the customer run it and it worked like a charm for him.
