Problem with 4630 IP

Hi,
I have problem with 4630 IP phone. I think that software upgrade goes wrong.
So, it looks like that:
1.Phone is booting, speaker led is on.
2.On black screen white letters: "Welcome to the 4630 Screenphone"
3.After some seconds (about 30 - 60) screen i black and all leds are on (headset, mute, speaker)
4. go to step 2

How can I fix this?

Have Avaya replace the set. It sounds like the bootstrap file is corrupt. Can you see the phone hitting the TFTP server?

That is correct..The boot file is corrupted somehow..That is why your phone is not coming up..Contact Avaya and have them replace the phone for you..

If the phone had a firmware version 1.61 or earlier and your TFTP server had a version later than the 1.61 your phone will try to upgrade when it boots. If this was you enviroment the phone will no longer be functional. Upgrade ANY 4630 set to version 1.61 THEN upgrade to the latest version. If not you will turn the phone into a beautiful paper weight!!
