Recently I upgraded my K220 server's operationg system from 10.20 to 11.0. After the upgrade I have not been able to detect my 2nd NIC card.
When I do a ioscan -f, here is the out put.

unknown -1 10/4/8 UNCLAIMED UNKNOWN HP HP-PB 100 BaseTXcard

Today I installed the QPK1100.depot patch but it still wont detect the Card. I'm hoping for any suggestions.

Thanks.

Check the kernel drivers section in SAM. It might be that the appropriate driver is not loaded.

Gerudman,

There is no lan1 to install the driver.

It looks like the Driver for the NIC isn't loaded.
Look at the NIC card for the HP Part num. Then using either the Install cd or the application cd set search for that driver for that card and install it. Or go to software.hp.com and search for the card and download it from there. Optional if you have a current swlisting from the 10.20 system you will also find the driver name.
