Hi,

I have an IPO 406 V2 release 4.2.17 with 1603, 1616 and 1608 sets. All sets are working perfectly except the 1608. All of them boot, register on the system, no buttons are functional on them and after something like 5 secs all of the 1605 (3) reboot and this happens over and over again. I really have no idea what is going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sorry made mistake because I typed in a hurry. The problematic sets are 1608. Sorry again

Did you upgrade the phone's ?
The 16xx set need an http server to upgrade and do not use tftp for it !!!
If you have a CF card then the ipoffice can act as a http server for you
Manager can do it too if you do not have a CF card

they havent upgraded properly, seen it loads on phones before they upgrade

Thanks for the reply. I figured that much but to tell you the truth I didn't know that they need an http server. How can I use the manager as a http. I know that it works as a tftp. Thanks

either use a third party as a http server or:

in the system tab
set the tftp server as the manager machine. set the http server as the LAN1 ip address of the IPO.

then when setting the phones up set the http server address as the LAN1 address of the IPO. they should pull the files fine.

Just put in the ipaddress in the ipo like you do with tftp
As long as your working directory is right it works
