Hi

I am facing problem while trying to connect service center to my test environment.

service center is installed in test environment.
I pasted the following text in properties of my desktop shorcut of service center console icon.
"C:\Program Files\Peregrine\ServiceCenter\RUN\scguiw32.exe" -express:<here i gave test env ip address>.<i gave portnumber>

But i got the error message "Error connecting to server, server not up or wrong port specified, errno(10061)
xvmsg_hook: xprt_connect failed rc = 10061"

but i can able to connect production without problem.
what could be the problem?

Some one help me pls.

Hi prakashmuthu,

first, are you sure the test server is up & running?

That there is not firewall or NAT that might mess up your connection?

And what version of SC is it?

cheers...

Hi Guys,

I have to renew the license for service center in test environment. I have got the valid auth code also.
how to update this auth code in service center.
How to update this? Please advise!

Thanks
Prakash

Hi,

Simply insert the code in the sc.ini file in the RUN folder. The line starts with 'auth:'.
