i have a laptop and whenever i email for example 2 images, the recipient gets to different images, not the ones i selected to send. any idea on what this problem could be?

for example if i send image01 & image02 then receive like image40 & image41

very weird problem, could it be a virus?

using winxp, and occurs when i use outlook, aol or any other email client

Does it only happen with images? (ie, are other attachments ok)? How do you attach - eg, if you browse for the object, try drag and drop, or vice versa.

btw - you might find forum605 more useful for your question.

I work with appraisers and they send lots and lots of pics
first get a program that will shrink the file to a reasonable size
then use a program that lets you see the visible image or use thumbnail view in your browser setting so you know for sure what image you are sending
you might want to zip the pics and send them that way

copy the pics that you want to send to a temporary staging folder like on the desktop call it "pic temp" as an idea and only place the pics that you want to send in that folder
after you are done delete those pics from the folder as the original is still in its original spot

that should help

If you use the right-click on the Image and use "Send To" Mail Recipient, there is usually and option from Windows to Resize the Image.
