Hi
I have the following problem:
When I import a jpg or bmp image and then convert it to a button symbol, the image is stretched a tiny bit, which adds some ugly notches to the image.
It's not visible until I test or export the movie.
It's not all images which act this way.
Also it's only visible when the desktop is set to display less than 32 bit colours (no problems in 32 bit!)
I've accessed my movie from other PCs, but the problem is exactly the same: Nothces in 24/16 bit, no problems in 32 bit.
I hope someone can help me.
Thanks
Jesper

it sounds like what is happening is that you saved the image as a 32 bit image many colors...basically when you lower your image from 32 bit certain colors are basically removed because they don't exist in the lower resolution environment. If you re-open your image in your editor then change your resolution you will see the change..repair the image under the new resolution..re-save...then choose update option from flash to repair the image...hope this helps.

Thanks, but I'm not sure that's the problem. I tried saving the jpg while running 16 bit but that didn't help. I don't know how to choose bit depth when saving jpgs in Photoshop.
You can go here and have a look at the problem. Notice the line down the middle of the small alpha sign. If you press it, you can see how it looks, when it's not a button (the right way).
I've noticed that if I drag the jpg used as button from the library and to somewhere in the movie, so that it's used as a button in one instance and as a graphic in another instance, they both look correct. Weird eh?

i want to get notes with regarding of flash.can you help me?
if you can then i am so happy.

thanks!
