Problem to ping PDC

I have 5 windows 2K servers at home connected via a HUB, One of them is PDC. The PDC able to ping all computers, but none of others able to ping PDC, therefore they are not abl e to joined to the domain. But they all able to ping each other, except to the PDC server. No firewall, they are in same subnet of 192.168.0.X 255.255.255.0. Any suggestions?

Let me make sure I have this correct:

First off, if you can ping from PDC to other servers, and get a reply ICMP echo back from them, then IP is working correctly. And you say that you can go to the server that you just pinged and it cannot ping back to the PDC? Odd.

But all the servers can ping back and forth? I'd replace the hub. Buy a switch.

even odd things is that when other servers are changed to automatically obtain address from static ip address, all the servers able to obtain new assigned dynamic ip addresses via DHCP server which also is PDC. PDC even able to access the folders on all servers, and other able to access folders to each other. Is there any security configuration or something prevent others to access or connect to the PDC? The HUB and cable have been changed, but the same problem.

Is the PDC set to ignore incoming Pings? I don't know how you'd do that but it's something to look into.

even if the incoming ping is blocked from pdc or prevent echo back, it should not prevent from mapping to its shared resources. Anyway,I just promoted another server to new PDC, and others able to joined to the new domain.

But I like to figure out what's wrong with the original pdc.Thanks all your input.
