HELLO,
This is my first post on the forum, I have a problem starting , I have three cards DSCXL , the problem is this , when I start hipath two boards show 4 in their displays, and the other in slot 1 causes a cycle repetitive and fails to finish , so I can not have comuncacion with hipath for any programming or regeneration .
I hope your answer thanks .

Annex a picture for reference

The bottom processor (DSCXL) should load to a dash dot configuration.
One of the others should load to an A and the other to an S (looked at sideways)!
Is the hard disk from that (duplex) system originally or is it from another system?

Take out the top processor and reload to see does one of the top processors go to A
Try loading from compact flash/magneto optical disk (press LCT then RES) on the bottom processor
Are the RTM modules fitted correctly on the backplane?
Are the fans running?

thanks

the system is duplex , at the moment I do not have any backup configuration . I have 2 compact flash ,
RTM modules are placed correctly, the fans are on.

I can not even connect to the Ethernet ports ( Altantic , IPDA , or CUSTOMER SERVICE )

Hi
Connect a 9 way V24 cable to a serial port on laptop/desktop PC to Service Port on bottom processor
Setup Hyperterminal or similar to 38400 8N1NN
Reload the system
see what the errors are coming up
Capture what it is sending out and send it here

If it still does not load
Remove all processors and the top LAN card just leave the bottom processor in
After it shows 9 it should load to dash dot

In the picture you have the processors marked.
When 1 was swapped with 2 was the SIM card and memory chips moved as well ?

Thank you for that.
Here is the answer...

For Version 4 HiPath (Your Software) you need to use DSCXL Q2311-X (With a WHITE Label on the left hand side near the SIM Card holder)

For Version 5 & 6 HiPath you have to use DSCXL Q2311-X300 (With a YELLOW label on the left hand side near the SIM Card Holder)

Either change the processors back to the older Q2311-X or Change the Software up to V5

The Processors you are using are showing up as DSCXL-X300

Sorry I meant V4 - White Sticker
V5 - Yellow Sticker
V6 is a different processor.

Also I don't see a SIM Card installed.

hi, thank you very much for their help ,

I can not even restore the system.
All I could do is press the reset button of the DSCXL (ADP ) button followed by the LCT card and service port I connect via hyperterminal and agree to the following menu
