Hi'I have a wierd problem, when trying to start Ati's catalyst control center 7.7..First of all I'm running Windows Xp Pro Sp2,and a Sapphire X1950 GT 256 AGP Video,Everything is running fine except, trying to start the ccc center, the black splash screen starts and freezes right there,I have to go to Xp Task Manager,Processes Tab & ccc.exe,& end the process. Then I try clicking on the control center again, and the second time I click on it the control center works fine, every time till I reboot, and then it freezes again??Man this is driving me nut's.I tried uninstalling Video driver, and catalyst 7.7 and reinstalling, and no change at all, still the same. Can anyone help me out with this one? Please Reply,Thankyou in Advance.

Greetings!

Firstly, I would download the latest driver version from ATI's website. I noticed that ATI has a v7.9 released for your video card. I would uninstall your driver and install the latest version. Then see if the problem persists.
