Problem signing in after CE9 install

Has anybody had problems signing in to the CMC
using the default Administrator account after installation of CE9? I'm running Windows 2000 and Sql Server 7.
The Crystal Launchpad comes up just fine. However,
when I try logging into the CMC, nothing happens.
Any ideas?

After troubleshooting this extensively with Crystal Decisions, it was determined that the server name
has an "underscore" in it. This is a non DNS supported
character (MicroSoft Windows 2000 Server).

Workarounds for this problem are to use the IP address for the website instead of the web server name OR rename the web server.

juju22, I am running Windows 2000 and SQL Server 7. But, I can't open Launchpad. Would you tell me your platforms of intalling CE9? Thanks.

I am not exactly sure what you are asking. I installed
CE9 on a Windows 2000 server with SQL Server 7 as the database. Can you open Launchpad from the server you
installed it on by choosing <START>, <PROGRAMS>,
<CRYSTAL ENTERPRISE 9>, <CRYSTAL LAUNCHPAD>?

Make sure you have Internet Explorer installed and the IIS services running on the server.
