Just upgraded from CM 5.2 from 2.2.2. Now auto dial and abbreviated dial buttons that have a pause within the string do not send any digits after the pause.

Try re-adding the dial string. The pause and wait characters use odd characters to set the pause and wait in the dial string. Perhaps it was lost or corrupted (or just interpreted strangely) in the conversion.

Carpe dialem! (Seize the line!)

Hi,
it seems that this is a Bug at Avaya. I've open a Ticket for this issue and wait now for the result of the MST Trace.

Regards
Alex

We had this very same issue on an older release that was upgraded w/in it's same bind (old). The bug was the # of digits it could not process on the autodial. We tried everything...but in the end had to have a patch put on and it is working again. So ask if it has to do w/the number of digits being processed.

We took have the same problem after an upgrade to CM 5.2

Ticket number 15548791 is opened with Avaya and after an MST trace, it has been esculated to Tier 4.

According to Tier 3, they were ot able to reproduce the issue with CM 5.2 patch 17250; they were able to recreate it with patch levels 17436 and 17534.

Just got confirmation from Tier 4 that there is a problem with the patch level that we are at (#17536). Will be working to have an updated patch created.
